Decoding Tips
- Depths are A, B, C, D, E, F → A = 1 .. B = 2 .. C = 3 .. D = 4 .. E = 5 .. F = 6.
- To decode the lock read in the OPPOSITE direction as it was picked.
- The last 6 characters of the key code from the dealer are the direct bitting symbol cuts in many VA2 keys. For example: NB0MEABECA → EABECA.
- In some cases use the last 6 letters from the code given by the dealer, and reverse them to get the cuts. For example: NL0XBCADBC → CBDACB.
